My oldest child is officially a kindergartner! Where does the time go?! These last few weeks have been packed with trying to get in our last summer trips and activities and then getting settled into our new school routine. Now that I feel like I can breathe a little again, I’m back with one more back-to-school activity & keepsake – a back to school interview printable!
Back to School Interview Printable
I started the tradition of the back to school interview last year. There are so many cute printable options out there that I chose a favorite instead of creating my own. I liked the printable from GigglesGalore.net because the lines are nice and tall for young kids’ big handwriting, and the dotted lines help them stay in the right spot. Next year, my son should be filling in his own answers!
So maybe this printable says “First Day of School” at the top. I might have missed the boat on that one this year! But I figure if you do it within the first few weeks, that still counts! The point is to capture their precious little personalities each year, and we did that!
Storing Back to School Interviews
A keepsake bin is the perfect place to store completed back to school interviews! I put the interview page in the front of the folder for the corresponding grade level. Then the artwork for that year goes behind it. You could also scan the completed interview / take a photo of it and put it in a digital photo book.
Back to School Interview – Other Printable Options
There are lots of cute printable choices out there on Pinterest. A couple of my other favorites are…
TatertotsAndJello.com has a cute interview printable with each grade level displayed in a colorful header. YellowBlissRoad.com’s interview printable is a bit simpler and has a specific place for a signature.
