Delivery Driver Snacks + Free Printable Thank You Signs!

I feel like more and more of my holiday shopping happens online every year.  I have limited time for shopping without kids in tow, I dread crowded stores, and I like being able to read reviews on a product before I buy it.  All of that means that the delivery drivers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Amazon) make many more deliveries to our house than normal during the month of December.  Is the same true for you?  If so, why not say thank you and treat them with some delivery driver snacks?

Delivery Driver Snacks – Basket on Your Porch

I often don’t know when delivery drivers come by my house, not to mention that their typical schedule is likely thrown off by the extra holiday deliveries.  So the best way for me to show them thanks is to leave a basket of goodies on my porch.

I used a basket I already had around the house and bought some packaged snack mixes and Milano cookies.  I wanted to offer something salty as well as something sweet.

Bottled water or Gatorade would also be a great addition to the basket.

Free Printable Thank You Signs

I made a couple of cute and free printable signs for the basket of delivery driver snacks!  The first one is a farmhouse-style printable with a Christmas wreath.

The second one is clean, simple, and colorful with reindeer.

I’d recommend printing your sign on cardstock, so it stays upright even when it’s humid or raining.  Doesn’t it look cute?

I think the basket is a hit!  I put it out for the first time yesterday, and the UPS delivery person took a few goodies.

I’ll probably do this project again in the summer.  I don’t get as many packages then, but it can be brutally hot here in Houston and they work hard in the heat!
